The whole world knows Venetian rowing because of the gondolas and gondoliers in Venice.
Largely unknown is the appropriate sports on a variety of types of boats in the city and the lagoon. Andreas Gruschka and Johannes Wessling came late to the Venetian rowing, but they became great lovers of the sport, the boats and the culture which is connected to the Venetian rowing.
Both are spokesmen for the International Association of Voga Veneta, the CIVV and in this function they wrote this textbook - so far published in German. It may help beginners and make readers to friends of the Venetian rowing. Version in other languages are planned.
