The Frankfurter Rowing Club Germania 1869 e. V. is happy to invite the Members of the CIVV on an excursion of the Main River on June 24 – 27, 2026
In order to take part in the excursion on the Main River from Aschaffenburg to Frankfurt, please register bindingly by February 1, 2026, at the following email address: dimitrios[dot]nicolaidis[at]gmx[dot]de. Let us know which boats and how many rowing places you will be coming with.
Please submit a separate registration per person!
A tentative schedule of events follows below:
Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Arrival in Aschaffenburg (3:00–6:00 PM), launching of boats, welcome, accommodation (hotel rooms have already been reserved, more detailed information will follow)
Thursday, June 25, 2026 (Aschaffenburg – Seligenstadt)
8:00 a.m.: Setting up the boats
8:30 – 9:30 a.m.: Promenade ride in front of Aschaffenburg Castle
10:00 a.m.: Departure to Seligenstadt (approx. 17 km)
12:00 – 1:00 p.m.: Picnic
5:00 p.m.: Arrival in Seligenstadt, check-in (rooms are already reserved, but not booked)
7:30 p.m.: Members‘ meeting at “Restaurant Klosterstube”
8:15 p.m.: Group dinner at “Restaurant Klosterstube“
Friday, June 26, 2026 (Seligenstadt – Frankfurt/Fechenheim)
9:00 a.m.: Departure to Frankfurt/Fechenheim to the Undine Sailing Club (approx. 29 km)
12:00 – 1:30 p.m.: Break/Picnic
5:30 p.m.: Arrival in Frankfurt Fechenheim
5:30 – 6:00 p.m.: Boats ashore
Check-in (possible for 2 nights!) at Hotel “Rioca”
Saturday, June 27, 2026 Fechenheim/Undine – Frankfurt/Westhafen
8:30 a.m.: Meeting at Frankfurt Fechenheim, Undine
9:30 a.m.: Departure to downtown Frankfurt (Westhafen)
12:00 – 2:00 p.m.: Break/Picnic at Westhafen
2:00 – 5:00 p.m.: Return to Fechenheim; boats out of the water or on the trailer
6:00 p.m.: Snack and farewell
